Veterans Day Luncheon

  • Thank you to our Hatherly Student Government and advisor Ms. Kate Pescatore, for organizing our annual Veterans Day Luncheon on Friday, November, 8th.

Enrichment Activities

  • Thank you to our PTO for bringing the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy for grades K and 1 and Neil Nichols Geography program for grades 4 and 5.  More enrichment programming is scheduled throughout the school year!

Turkey Trot

  • Thank you to Mr. Puzzangara for organizing the 4th & 5th grade Turkey Trot
  • Congratulations to Connor Scroggins who took 1st place in the 4th grade boys race.
  • Congratulations to Kelsey Fagone who took 3rd place in the 4th grade girls race.
  • Thank you for all of the Scituate Food Pantry donations.

Gratitude Bracelets

  • 3rd  graders created their own Gratitude Bracelets in connection with this month’s Character Strong focus on Gratitude. 
  • Whenever we are faced with disappointment or sadness, it can be helpful to think about things for which we are grateful. 
  • Students each decorated 3 wooden beads with pictures and words to represent what they are grateful for. Family, friends, nature, and pets were at the top of the list.  
  • Then they got to pick other beads in colors that made them happy. 
  • Whenever they feel disappointed or sad, they have a physical reminder of the things that make them happy and grateful right on their wrists!

Fun Run

Clothing

  • Please be sure to label all clothing coming to school as cold weather arrives!
  • The lost & found is starting to pile up! 
  • Please note that students will be going outside if the temperature is above 23 degrees.
  • If the temperature is below 40 degrees, students will not be allowed outside in shorts or without a sweatshirt or jacket.

Coffee Pond Photography

  • Class photos are distributed when retake photos are shipped.
