Tools
Scoir
Scoir is a software program that lets schools track student progress and easily send that information to colleges. It also supports letters of recommendation.
Common App
Get connected with everything you need to apply to college, research financial aid and scholarships, and get advice from counselors, advisors, and mentors.
Important Tasks and Deadlines
At least THREE weeks are required to process requests for transcripts, counselor recommendation letters, and supporting documents to colleges and universities. There is no guarantee that school documents received after the deadline will arrive at your college/university on time.
Recommendation Letters
- Teacher Recommendation Questionnaire: The student submits to the teacher(s) for recommendation letters.
- Counselor Recommendation Questionnaire: The student submits to the school counselor.
- Student Brag Sheet: Parents/Caregivers submit to the school counselor.
Transcript Requests
- Transcript Release Consent Form: The student submits to their school counselor
- The student enters requests into their Scoir student accounts.
Both tasks must be completed to process official transcript requests and supporting school documentation to colleges. Transcripts and recommendations will only be sent to those colleges students have entered through Scoir.
If you are an Alumni of SHS and need to request your transcript, please visit the Alumni page.
